Hi, I’m Amie! I have lived in Central Oregon for over 20 years and am the mother of two amazing children, an 18 year-old daughter and a 15 year-old son. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Oregon State University and have been babysitting for local families for more than 20 years. With both professional childcare experience and firsthand experience as a parent, I understand the importance of reliable, trustworthy care. My goal is to help families find the support they need and make the process of securing childcare as simple and stress-free as possible. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors and taking advantage of everything Central Oregon has to offer. I love meeting new families and look forward to helping connect them with trusted, quality childcare.
After a few stints in credit union marketing and working for a remodeling firm, I took some time off to raise and homeschool three daughters ages 9-15. When my girls were younger I had a difficult time finding babysitters and I wish something like Summit Sitters existed back then. We have two boston terriers and regularly walk and pet-sit other doggies around town.
